Hi, I'm Marina.

My path into design started with a psychology degree and a part-time job as a swim coach. When parents kept struggling to use our team's website, I decided to redesign it myself. Solving that first real usability problem is what got me interested in UX.

Largely self-taught, I eventually landed at InterPrice Technologies, where I faced a new challenge: designing for a finance platform without a finance background. I learned how the business worked, talked to users, and studied how they handled their work outside the product. That helped me understand not just what they were asking for, but what they actually needed.

My psychology background still shapes the way I design today. I think a lot about how people process information, make decisions, and build trust. I like exploring complex problems until I can find the simplest way through them. Good design should make a difficult task feel easier, and that's the bar I hold my work to.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me baking, traveling, snowboarding, spending time with friends and family, or out on the water.
